Bloomingdale’s Social 2.0

A client since 2015, Courtney’s team re-envisioned Bloomie’s signature social style with a fresh, more editorial photography direction and high-impact styling, all while maintaining the brand’s signature colorful POV and native New York City narrative. They shifted from flat, single-character storytelling and stop-motion videos to a more dynamic, of-the-moment visual direction.

Bloomingdale’s Social 1.0

The original content direction for Bloomingdale’s was groundbreaking when it launched. The team at Annex88 developed a character, whose content was inspired by Instagram-famous influencers, and whose visual direction was trendy, colorful, and highlighted the newest and best of the NYC cultural scene. To this approach, Courtney brought a modern and clean visual aesthetic, and a passion for beauty lifestyle content.
